Before you dive headfirst into our delicious digital offerings (and trust us, you'll want to), we need to have a little chat. Think of it as a pre-cookie briefing, a gentle reminder that even in a world of sprinkles and chocolate chips, there are rules.

These are our Website Terms and Conditions, the guardians of our digital cookie jar, if you will. You can find them enshrined at https://thecookiejunkie.com. We know, we know, legal stuff is about as exciting as finding a raisin in your oatmeal cookie. But trust us, giving it a once-over is a good idea. We even recommend printing it out, just in case the internet spontaneously combusts and you need to prove you agreed to something.

ACCEPTING YOUR ORDER

Just a friendly heads-up about how your order works with us.

Thinking of placing your order online? Don't worry, once we receive your order, we'll send you an email to let you know we've got it, until those cookies are in your hands (or mouth!), they're still technically ours. During checkout, we'll need your payment info, and everything you share is kept super secure. We only use it to process your order! 

Your card payment is authorised when we accept your order.

PAYMENT 

Our online store is powered by the awesome folks at GoDaddy, who provide us with the platform to showcase our products and connect with you.

When it comes to payments, we've partnered with Stripe, a trusted and secure payment processor. They handle all the payment details, so you can shop with confidence knowing your information is safe and sound. We never see or store your full payment information – Stripe takes care of everything! This allows us to focus on creating the products you'll love. Happy shopping!

OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS

We, the team at The Cookie Junkie, pour our hearts (and a whole lotta butter) into creating this website. We spend hours perfecting recipes, snapping drool-worthy photos (try not to lick your screen!), and crafting articles that hopefully make you chuckle while informing you about the wonderful world of cookies.

Because of all that hard work, we gotta be a little protective. That's why we're politely (but firmly) reminding everyone that all rights, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, in and related to this Website are owned by or licensed to The Cookie Junkie. That includes everything from our secret snickerdoodle recipe that finally got grandma's seal of approval to that witty caption we spent way too long agonizing over.

Think of it this way: we baked these cookies. We decorated them. We photographed them. We even ate a few (for quality control, of course!). You can admire them, even be inspired by them, but you can't just snatch them and claim them as your own. That's just not how cookies (or the internet) work!

So, what does this all mean for you, our loyal readers? You're more than welcome to browse, enjoy, and even share links to our content. We encourage it! Just please remember to give credit where credit is due. Don't go stealing our recipes and pretending you invented the double-chocolate fudge masterpiece. We’ll know. We have our ways. (And by ways, we mean Google Alerts and a serious cookie-baking detective agency).

We just want to keep The Cookie Junkie a fun, creative, and legally sound place for everyone. ACCOUNT AND PASSWORD SECURITY

Just a friendly reminder that keeping your Cookie Junkie account safe and sound is super important. Think of your password like your secret cookie recipe – you wouldn't want anyone else getting their hands on it, right?

You're in charge of keeping your login details under wraps, and all the delicious cookie orders placed under your account. We're doing our part to keep things secure, but ultimately, protecting your password is in your hands. 

HOME DELIVERY

Just a quick note about how we get those delicious treats to your door. Once you've placed your order, our team at Cookie Junkie HQ gets to work! We send everything via Royal Mail on a fully trackable service, usually within 24-48 hours of your order confirmation.

Keep an eye out for a text and email notification with your tracking details as soon as your order leaves us. Sometimes Royal Mail can be a little slow scanning parcels, so there might be a slight delay in the tracking update.

If you're ever worried about your tracking or just have a question, don't hesitate to email us. We're always happy to help make sure your cookies arrive safe and sound! Happy munching!

COLLECTIONS

At checkout, you'll be able to choose a collection date. Just a heads-up: collections happen every Friday.

Don't worry, we'll send you a message as soon as your order is packed and ready to go! 

Once you get that message, swing by the Co-Op at Waterhouse Way, Hampton Gardens, Peterborough, PE7 8SJ. Message us back when you arrive, and we'll bring your order right out!

REFUNDS

We pour so much love and passion into packing each and every Cookie Junkie order. Seriously, we're talking meticulous attention to detail to make sure your cookies leave our hands in tip-top shape!

Now, because these goodies are perishable, please note that we can't offer refunds once an order is placed. Also, once your cookies are with the courier, any delays, damages, or losses are unfortunately out of our control.

However, if there's ever an issue that's on us – a mistake from The Cookie Junkie Team – you bet we'll work closely with you to find a delicious resolution! We're all about making sure you're happy with your cookie experience.

CHANGES TO ORDER

We know, sometimes cravings change at the last minute! But our bakers jump into action super quickly to get your treats baked fresh and shipped out. So, double-check everything before you hit that "order" button to ensure your cookie dreams come true exactly as you imagined them!

Just a friendly heads-up: once you've placed your order and those delicious cookies are heading your way, we're unable to make changes to the flavours you've chosen, the delivery name, or the address specified.
